Arabic Language (Full Time)
This programme aims to give students a clear and distinct picture of the two major branches of the Arabic,
which is Arabic linguistics and literature. The aim is to consolidate the student`s knowledge of the Arabic
language so as to better equip students for the next level of study. As mentioned our main focus are on
the linguistics and literary aspects of the language. Thus, at this level students will have a full and
clear picture of all the disciplines under both. In addition, Students will be able to express ideas and
information in written text and spoken Arabic.
Students who enroll to this programme must have a good background of Arabic language. It is also
imperative that they are familiar with the language as lectures will largely be in Arabic.
Syllabuses for this course are exclusively in Arabic language. Student who completes this course with
the grade very good can proceed to the Diploma level.
1- GCE ‘N’ Level or its equivalent and above.
2- Any other qualification that is recognized by the academic committee of the college as equivalent to the above.
3- Able to recite al-Quran.
4- Open to students from the age of 16 onwards.
5- Complete with the passing grade of “A” at MIC`s certificate Fulltime Arabic.
6- Written proof of proficiency in the Arabic language.
Student must complete and pass all 32 credit hours by which a Pre-Diploma certificate in Arabic language will be granted.
Repeat of subject/ semester
1. Students who fail 3 or more subjects must repeat the whole semester.
2. Students who fail less than 3 subjects will be allowed for a resit examination by which the highest attainable grade is C.
3. Students who fail in the resit must retake the subject(s) in the next semester.
No provision of supplementary classes meaning, students have to wait for the next available class.

In order to obtain a Pre Diploma Certificate in Arabic Language, a student must comply with all requirements set by the College.
The student must complete 32 credits.
