OUR STORY

Muhammadiyah Islamic College (MIC) was set up in 2001 to fill the gap for a pre-tertiary and tertiary Islamic education back then. Thus, in many ways, MIC can be considered as a pioneer post-secondary Islamic educational Institution in modern day Singapore. MIC is registered with the Ministry of Education and is recognized as a private Islamic Educational Institution. Our curriculum is MUIS-approved and all our lecturers are ARS registered.

MIC realises the role it has to play in advancing and promoting real education as defined by Islam in Singapore. By providing a holistic education experience, MIC can influence in shaping the Muslim community, one that is progressive yet grounded with a sense of purpose and fidelity to Islam. MIC hopes to continue to provide an alternative to students who wish to study and grow in their discipline within an Islamic learning environment and culture.

Hence, it is MIC’s aspiration to nurture the future generation with integrated knowledge that not only prepares them for their career but one that shapes them to be God-conscious individuals who personify the spirit of the Qur’an and the life of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w., Insya Allah.

Muhammadiyah Islamic College (MIC) is a subsidiary of Muhammadiyah Association (MA) Singapore, a welfare organisation that was established in 1957.
